Colourpop Product Review

    Product Review: (Left to right)

Where The Light Is
Kathleenlights X Colourpop -Where The Light Is quad, super shock eyeshadow. Shades: Glow (matte), Cornelious (matte), Kathleenlights (pearlized) and Blaze (metallic). Product made in the U.S.A.
This $18 USD quad is ideal for makeup lovers who are interested in obtaining a soft, golden/ bronzed goddess look. However, on the downside, given my medium skin tone the matte tones (Cornelious and Glow) didn't really show up, because its basically as deep as my skin tone, but that's not a problem I simply used the shade as a setting powder/ base shade over my primer. On the contrary, shades Kathleenlights and Blaze were highly pigmented and added the perfect pop of bronzy glam. Overall, we love this quad,  and its definitely a spring/ summer time must have. Kathleen definitely showed us "where the light is" with this beautiful quad in collaboration with Colourpop and thats why its our favorite must have Colourpop product.

Mile High

Colourpop- Mile High super shock shadow collection. Shades: Truth (satin), Nillionaire (metallic), So Quiche (metallic), Lala (ultra metallic), Cricket (metallic) and Mittens (matte). Product made in the U.S.A.

The Mile High collection is insane. For $20 USD all these shades are crazy pigmented and they apply easily, and the most amazing factor is all shades are totally wearable for everyday. The range of shades are ideal to give consumers the ability to create several looks ranging from daytime glam to night-time popping. This palette collection is perfect if you're interested in an everyday beautiful makeup collection, that definitely gives you value for your money. And the best part the packaging comes with mirror which makes it perfect to simply throw in your bag for touch ups. This collection is definitely bang for your buck.

Liquid Ultra Matte Lip
So all Colourpop's ultra matte lippies cost approximately $6 USD. From the shades being reviewed they are crazy pigmented, however, it shows up differently on various skin tones so results vary. The formula is long lasting, but for best results, before application you should definitely exfoliate and moisturize your lips, this will prevent any flaking and allow the colour to apply smoothly. My only concerns were Tulle and Zipper, after 2 hours of wear it started coming off patchy, it almost looked like chipped paint while it was flaking off, but hopefully that was just the consistency of those two shades (maybe I got bad tubes). I've never experienced that problem with all the other shades I've tried to date.

So there you have it... a review of some of our favorite Colourpop products. Try them out and comment and tell us which one is your favorite must have product.
